 Welcome to the Extra-Planetary Navigation and Communication Center

 

Now that we have this 3 mile in diameter orbital community of facilities and individual habitats, the questions become how do we keep these facilities and habitats from colliding into each other and how do we move from one location to another…, safely and efficiently.

That's where Navigation and Communications systems come into play. Primarily we need a Relative Positioning and Stabilization System Network where each Facility, Individual Habitat and Vehicle are Monitored and Managed so that all Facilities, Vehicles and other Components maintain there relative position from all other Facilities, Vehicles and Components. Navigational Aids and devices will also be used to help us get from place to place.

We need Navigation Systems that will assist us in traveling from one Community or City group to another.
 
We also need Deep Space Navigation and Communications Systems. In this type of System we will need to change two dimensional star charts into 3D Virtual Environmental Models where you can view your current position as in the middle of that model with your actual position and prospective presented and displayed to you.
 
We will also need to place NavCom devices and/or stations and marker beacons in various location and positions through out our solar system, and eventually throughout our galaxy and beyond. In this way we can develop a gps type of system and setup trade routes, flight paths and the like that will help us get from one point to another.
